“Cool work” starts
with showing up
every day.
Jason Craig’s newest talk, A Ton of These, is about the work that keeps a creative career alive: showing up every day, engaging with small businesses, participating in the community, and taking on assignments that may never become portfolio headlines.
You cannot wait around for so-called cool work to arrive. The celebrated projects grow out of years of useful work, relationships, repetition, and being present when people need you.
Giving back doesn’t mean giving in. Staying connected to everyday work is not a step backward. It is how relationships, judgment, relevance, and new possibilities continue to grow.
Request availability.
Jason is currently discussing paid engagements for fall 2027 and throughout 2028. Spring 2027 availability is limited. Earlier opportunities may be considered when the program, timing, and travel are a strong fit.
An inquiry starts a conversation. It does not create a commitment for either the organizer or Jason.

A Ton of These
Giving back doesn’t mean giving in.
A successful career is not permission to disappear and wait for portfolio-worthy projects. Jason makes the case for showing up every day, staying engaged with small businesses, and continuing to participate in the community—even after success arrives.
Everyday assignments create relationships, judgment, trust, and opportunities to contribute. Audiences leave with a practical way to remain useful, keep building momentum, and understand that the celebrated work grows from years of participation—not wishful waiting.
Best for: creative conferences, community organizations, independent businesses, design organizations, universities, agencies, and in-house teams.
Origins of Expert
Expertise rarely begins with a perfect plan.
Jason gives weight to the mundane experiences, wrong turns, and overlooked opportunities that carried him through the first decade of his career. The talk helps students and working creatives mind the gaps, recognize opportunity inside imperfect jobs, and build a more realistic definition of expertise.
Best for: students, recent graduates, emerging creatives, and career-development programs.
Trust the Experts
Retaining creative talent takes more than perks.
Designed for owners, managers, and creative leaders, this talk explores how trust, clear expectations, and better working relationships improve retention and the work itself. Jason brings the perspective of someone who has worked inside organizations and independently. He is not here to tell everyone to quit their job and go sit alone under a desk.
Best for: agency owners, in-house teams, managers, creative leaders, and professional associations.
